Registration:  You are not required to register or to set up an account before shopping or making a purchase on this site.  REGISTRATION DOES NOT ASK YOU FOR CREDIT CARD INFORMATION, etc., it only asks for general information that I need when processing your order.  Telephone numbers are only used to process your order, which is sometimes needed.  I never share your information with anyone, ever. Setting up an account will also allow you to view your purchase history, retain items placed in your shopping cart for up to 3 days and make checkout faster. 

Shipping: I usually ship items within 1-2 days after payment is received and will email you the tracking number the same day it is shipped. Remember that actual delivery time depends on the carrier's schedule and your distance from Raleigh, NC 27610. There is a shipping delay for checks to clear the bank - PayPal electronic checks (4-5 days) and Personal Checks (10 days). 

Shipping preference: UPS Ground is my preferred shipping carrier and I have daily pickup. For UPS packages, there is no additional charge for insurance. UPS is usually less expensive than USPS Priority for packages 2-3 pounds or more. All shipping costs reflect the actual charge of shipping by the carrier from my zip code (27610) to yours. When a new box is required for shipping, the cost of the box is also included in the shipping charge.

I reserve the right to determine the best shipping method for most items, although I try to accommodate your preferences. I often figure both methods and offer you the less expensive, although I primarily use UPS to ship larger items including carts, barn stars, pet carriers and children's chairs. USPS Priority can be used if the cost is significantly less than UPS ($1 or so).

USPS - All fragile items will be insured and the cost of insurance will be included in the shipping cost quoted.  USPS insurance will not be included for items $12 or less unless they are fragile - OR you specifically ask for insurance.

Note: I use USPS Priority to APO, FPO, AK and HI. Combined Shipping: I am happy to combine items for shipping to save you $$, IF they fit sensibly into one box. Items that are shipped directly from my suppliers cannot be combined (VersaCarts, some pet carriers and some children's furniture). For example, barn stars and pet carriers simply do not fit well with each other - I'm sure you get the idea.

Feel free to email me to confirm shipping cost if it sounds out of line - include your zip code! I don't attempt to profit on shipping charges, but do recoup the price of special new boxes required for some items (carts, pet carriers, stars, etc.) Expedited Shipping is always available for an additional charge (figured by shipping carrier). The shipping calculator shows these options and I will be happy to confirm them if you have questions.

International Buyers: Please email me BEFORE making a purchase and I will be happy to give you a shipping estimate (email your postal code). I prefer to ship only unbreakable items to non-US addresses. Buyer is responsible for all customs and additional charges. In addition to the shipping cost, a $3 per package handling fee (International packages only) will be added because the US Postal Service online shipping calculator frequently under-estimates the cost. At my discretion I may decline to ship items to non-US addresses.

Gift Shipping: Packages can be shipped directly to the gift recipient for no additional cost other than normal shipping cost. No price information will be included in the package. Complimentary small gift card can be included. Use comment section of checkout form to write the message you want included. Gift Certificates are available.

Return Policy: Please select and measure carefully. Items are guaranteed to be as represented, otherwise sales are final. I may decide to offer an exchange in rare exceptions for good reasons. Buyer is responsible for all shipping costs, which are nonrefundable. Prior approval must be obtained. Monogrammed items cannot be returned.
