Brown transferware / transfer ware ceramic dinner pieces with soft rose, yellow, blue and green. I have checked them and find no chips or flakes. These are shiny without wear - all in excellent condition. The camera flash may make the colors appear a little lighter than they actually are - colors are strong and bright. All pieces MARKED: Johnson Brothers Stoke-on-Trent England. Staffordshire Bouquet - Made in England, Acid Resisting, Dish Washer Safe Ironstone. They also have 2 seals showing on the bottom. One seal reads beneath it: By appointment to her majesty the Queen - manufacturers of ceramic tableware. The other seal has these words beneath it: By appointment to H.M.
