Nice car seat for your pet traveling buddy - nice without being too expensive.  I use one of these for my small dog, but have shortened the straps so that he rides higher on the seat and can see out.  Has clip for harness or collar.

Adjustable belts hold the car seat around the seat in the middle and up high as shown in the photo. Folds flat for storage.
